Michael Stackhouse

Michael Stackhouse is a life sciences technology leader with more than a decade of experience in clinical submissions, analytics engineering, and the modernization of clinical data workflows. He began his career in clinical submission work and has since focused on developing the tools, processes, and open-source solutions that help organizations work more efficiently, consistently, and transparently.
Michael has been part of Atorus since the company’s earliest days. He built the Analytics Engineering team and later established the product team, leading, alongside his team, the development and delivery of Atorus products including Atorus Academy, OpenVal, and Ageirein.
An avid open-source contributor, Michael has served as a core author or contributor to more than 10 CRAN packages, including Atorus-developed packages such as Tplyr and clinify, as well as collaborative industry projects including datasetjson and envsetup.
He has also been a key contributor to several industry initiatives. He was a founding member of pharmaverse, an initial lead of the PHUSE Data Visualization and Open Source Technologies Working Group, a former board member of the CDISC Open Source Alliance, and a regular presenter and keynote speaker at industry conferences including PHUSE and PharmaSUG.
